HUINAN BRAIDS惠南 织锦

Nanhui, a suburb area of Shanghai, is located in the alluvial plain of Yangtze River Delta.

According to the "Old Tang History", the ancient seawalls in Zhoupu and Xiasha were built in 713 AD ( the first year of Tang dynasty ), and therefore the land of western Nanhui was formed before the Tang dynasty.

As time moves on, the land gradually extended to the southeast, and Huinan was eventually formed during the Song and Yuan dynasties.

南汇是长江三角洲冲积平原的一部分，是上海市郊成陆较晚的地区。

据《旧唐书》记载，713年（唐开元元年）在周浦、下沙一线重筑古捍海塘，故南汇西部地区当成陆于唐以前。

随着时间的推移，陆地逐渐向东南延伸，沧海变桑田，宋、元时期，惠南一带成陆。
